Formed in 2001, Daintree Farm has evolved from a cattle property into an orchard specializing in Australia's most unique indigenous fruit the Australian Native Finger Lime, moving strategically towards vertical integration from wholesale to retail sale both locally and internationally.
Daintree Farms' vision is to move deliberately from an initial wholesale based marketing scheme to a production chain with direct retail sale both locally and in the export market.
This vision, together with known traceability of our own grown product, gives our customer's confidence knowing we stand behind our branded product. We believe our inclusion in the international export fruit market will have a 3 fold effect : i) it will have a commercially beneficial effect on our bottom line , and ii) will aid in the educating the public about the benefits of Australian indigenous food products , and iii) promote tourism .
